Lego Harry Potter Years 5 – 7 is more like the second half of the same game than a true sequel, a fact that at first sight would undoubtedly annoy others. But it makes up for what the game lacks in originality with plenty of funny cutscenes, family-friendly co-op action, and a world full of secrets to ferret out.
The basic structure remains the same as it has been since its release in 2005 at Lego Star Wars. The final four Harry Potter movies are divided into six co-op friendly levels, enabling gamers to play iconic moments from movies like the Gringott’s attack on Half-Blood Prince, or the Order of the Phoenix’s environment ministry of magic war. Players are free to explore Hogwarts and its surrounding grounds between missions.
